Teacher Murdered in Palamu, Jharkhand: Body Found in Bushes

Mumbai, May 29: A tragic incident has occurred in the Chhatarpur police area of Palamu district, Jharkhand, where a 45-year-old assistant teacher, Uday Singh, was brutally murdered. His body was discovered in a bush, showing signs of severe injury.

According to police reports, Uday Singh received a phone call from an acquaintance on Thursday evening, prompting him to leave his home. When he did not return by late night, his family began searching for him. They found his motorcycle parked along the road near Nagdara village. After further searching the vicinity, they located his bloodied body a short distance away in the bushes.

Uday Singh was employed as an assistant teacher at a local school and also provided medical assistance to residents in the area. Upon receiving news of the incident, Chhatarpur police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. Several bottles of alcohol and beer were recovered from the site.

Initial investigations suggest that Uday Singh may have been lured under the pretext of a drinking party, after which he was killed with a sharp weapon.

Police officials have indicated that the involvement of a familiar person cannot be ruled out. They are currently investigating the identity and activities of the individual who made the phone call to Uday. The police are also examining the victim’s mobile phone call details and preparing to question those who were in contact with him last. Significant evidence has been collected from the crime scene, and the investigation is being advanced with the help of a forensic team. The body has been sent for autopsy.

The incident has left the local community in shock and anger, with residents demanding the swift arrest of the perpetrators. Police have assured that they will solve the case quickly and apprehend those responsible.
