Lucknow, May 29: A shocking incident has emerged from Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, where the bodies of a young couple were discovered hanging from a tree, causing widespread panic in the area. This tragic event took place in the village of Pilkhana, located in the Narora police jurisdiction. The discovery has left local residents in a state of fear.
The deceased have been identified as Gagan and a minor girl. Reports indicate that the girl had gone missing two days prior, prompting police to search for both her and Gagan. Preliminary investigations suggest that this case may be a suicide.
An FSL team that arrived at the scene reported that the bodies had been hanging for approximately two days. The police have taken the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem examinations. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding their deaths has commenced.
According to SP Rural, Antariksh Jain, a complaint was filed on May 27 by the victim’s brother, Kapil Kumar. He alleged that a young man named Gagan had lured his younger sister away from home. Based on this complaint, police had been searching for Gagan and the minor girl for the past two days.
Tragically, on Friday, the bodies of both individuals were found hanging from a tree. The FSL team was called to the scene, and further investigations are ongoing.
In a related incident, another case of a love affair turned violent was reported from Jashpur district in Chhattisgarh on the same day. A young man was brutally murdered, allegedly by the woman’s husband and his accomplices, who struck the victim on the head with a stone. Police have detained a minor and arrested two others in connection with this case, which has also caused a stir in the area.
