
Bhopal, May 29: A fantastic opportunity has emerged for the youth of the country looking to kickstart their professional careers before joining a prestigious institution. Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has officially announced a massive recruitment drive for a total of 1,607 apprentice trainee positions.
The 1,607 vacancies include 241 Graduate Apprentices, 305 Diploma Apprentices, 906 Trade Apprentices (ITI), and 155 Paramedical Apprentices.
Among the 241 Graduate Apprentice positions, there are 45 for Electrical Engineering graduates, 43 for Mechanical Engineering graduates, 13 for Computer Science and Engineering graduates, 17 for Mining Engineering graduates, 8 for Electronics Engineering graduates, 16 for Civil Engineering graduates, 7 for Information Technology graduates, 58 for Commerce graduates, 7 for Arts graduates (BA), 12 for Law graduates (LLB), and 15 for Computer Applications graduates.
The 305 Diploma Apprentice positions encompass 13 in Back Office Management, 29 in Mining Engineering, 67 in Mechanical Engineering, 72 in Electrical Engineering, 12 in Electronics Engineering, 56 in Civil Engineering, 16 in Modern Office Management and Secretarial Practices, 14 in Computer Science/IT, 5 in Environmental Engineering, and 21 in Survey Engineering.
For Trade Apprentices (ITI), the 906 positions include 244 for ITI Electricians, 349 for ITI Fitters, 110 for ITI Welders, 44 for ITI Turners, 43 for ITI Machinists, 63 for ITI Auto Electricians, 32 for ITI Computer Operators and Programming Assistants, 11 for ITI Diesel Mechanics, and 10 for ITI Motor Mechanics.
The 155 Paramedical Apprentice positions consist of 6 for Physiotherapy graduates, 30 for Nursing graduates, 3 for Ayurveda graduates, 3 for Optometry graduates, 3 for Yoga graduates, 3 for Dietetics graduates, 10 for Medical Laboratory Technology diploma holders, 15 for Pharmacy diploma holders, 10 for ECG Technology diploma holders, 60 for General Nursing and Midwifery diploma holders, 10 for X-ray Technology diploma holders, and 2 for Ophthalmic Technology diploma holders.
The online application process for all these positions will commence on June 1 and will close on June 15. Candidates wishing to apply can complete their registration on the NAPS or NATS portal within the specified timeframe.
Applicants must possess the relevant qualifications, including a graduation degree, diploma, or ITI certificate from a recognized board/institution/university as per the respective position.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is capped at 26 years, calculated as of June 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on qualifications, followed by document verification and medical examinations. Selected candidates will receive a stipend ranging from ₹9,600 to ₹13,700 per month, depending on the position.
