Bhopal, March 12: The ongoing conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran is beginning to impact LPG supply in Madhya Pradesh. Long queues are forming outside gas agencies as consumers express concern over timely gas availability.
The war between these nations has disrupted petroleum supplies globally. However, the Indian government asserts that there is sufficient petroleum available in the country. To prevent any future issues, the central government has issued guidelines, and special arrangements have been made in Madhya Pradesh.
The supply of commercial cylinders in the state has been halted, affecting roadside tea and snack shops, as well as hotels and restaurants. While many businesses are struggling to obtain commercial cylinders, domestic LPG consumers are increasingly worried about potential supply disruptions.
As a result, consumers are lining up at gas agencies in addition to ordering online, leading to visible long queues outside these establishments. The state government has instructed all district collectors to implement strict measures to prevent hoarding and black marketing of LPG cylinders.
Despite these concerns, the government claims that LPG consumers are not facing any difficulties and that there is an adequate stock of petrol, diesel, and domestic gas in the state.
