
Mumbai, May 20: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has announced an official notification for the recruitment of 63 positions, including physicians. Among these roles, there are 9 doctors, 6 obstetricians and gynecologists, 8 pediatricians, 10 ophthalmologists, 10 dermatologists, 10 psychiatrists, and 10 ENT specialists.
Candidates will be selected based on a walk-in interview, document verification, and a merit list. Selected candidates will be required to report to their assigned posting centers once a week. They will receive a fixed fee of ₹2,000 per visit, along with an additional ₹100 for each patient examined, depending on their specialty. The maximum fee per visit is capped at ₹5,000.
To participate in the interview, candidates must possess a postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB/Diploma) in the relevant specialty, valid registration with the Maharashtra Medical Council, and a medical fitness certificate.
The maximum age limit for candidates is set at 70 years. Successful candidates will be posted at various centers, including Mhetrewasti, Moshi, Yamunanagar, Sangvi, Sambhajinagar, Gharkul, Velkarwadi, Nehrunagar, Bijlinagar, and Dighi UPHC Center.
The walk-in interview will take place on Wednesday from 2 PM to 5 PM. Candidates are advised to arrive on time and bring a hard copy of the completed application form along with all relevant original documents and photocopies.
To download the application form, candidates should first visit the official PCMC website. After reaching the homepage, they should click on the notification link for the relevant position. Subsequently, they can download the application form provided in the notification, print it out, fill in the required information, and bring it on the day of the interview.
