Yogi Adityanath Meets BJP Leaders JP Nadda and Nitin Nabin in Delhi

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda and party’s Executive President Nitin Nabin in the national capital on Monday. The Chief Minister described the meeting as a courtesy visit.

Sharing a photo of the meeting on the social media platform X, CM Yogi Adityanath wrote that he had a courtesy meeting with BJP National President and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda in New Delhi. He extended his heartfelt thanks for the valuable time given.

The meeting took place amid organisational changes and preparations for upcoming elections. Prior to this, CM Yogi Adityanath also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence to seek guidance for accelerating the development path of the ‘New Uttar Pradesh’.

On X, the Chief Minister mentioned that he received valuable guidance from Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the courtesy meeting in New Delhi. He expressed gratitude for the continuous energy and inspiration provided to further speed up the development journey of the ‘New Uttar Pradesh’.

According to sources, discussions covered several important issues including the much-awaited expansion of the state cabinet, political appointments in various commissions and boards, and strategies for the 2027 assembly elections.

Following the appointment of Pankaj Chaudhary as the new Uttar Pradesh BJP president, a cabinet reshuffle is expected after Makar Sankranti. The meeting also focused on aligning ongoing development projects and state policies with the central government’s vision of a ‘Developed India’.

Under the leadership of the ‘double engine’ government, Uttar Pradesh has made significant progress in infrastructure, investment, and public welfare schemes, contributing notably to national development.

These meetings reflect close coordination between the state and central governments as Uttar Pradesh aims to set new standards of prosperity, good governance, and comprehensive progress by 2026.
