Rajpal Yadav Reveals Shocking Details About ₹5 Crore Loan Controversy

Mumbai, March 2: Comedian Rajpal Yadav has returned to work after serving 13 days in jail over a ₹5 crore loan and check bounce case. He has now disclosed surprising facts related to his case that have left fans astonished.

In a video posted on his official YouTube channel, Yadav refuted all allegations against him. He explained how the agreement was arbitrarily extended, forcing him to pay a substantial amount by the film’s release date.

Yadav stated that the ₹5 crore loan was used to build his ancestral home in his village, emphasizing that even ₹50 crore would not weaken him. He claimed that the first agreement was signed in 2012, where he was asked to repay ₹8 crore in exchange for the loan. It was promised that the money would be returned after the film’s release. However, when the film was set to hit theaters, a second agreement was sent, demanding ₹11 crore instead.

According to Yadav, the discussion about repayment arose after the film’s release, but due to delays, the amount was increased in the second agreement. He alleged that the complainant, Maghav Gopal Verma, gave an interview that severely damaged the film’s prospects, leading to widespread claims of fraud against him.

The film was initially slated for release on approximately 2,500 screens but ended up on only 1,200 due to theater owners refusing to screen it. Yadav clarified that the issue was not related to check bouncing, as none of his checks had bounced, and he intends to present evidence in court.
