Lucknow, May 21: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) successfully conducted the Lekhpal Main Recruitment Exam 2026 across designated centers in the state on Thursday. The exam took place in a single shift from 10 AM to 12 PM, with thousands of candidates registering their attendance.

A candidate named Shaurya from Kanpur shared that the question paper was not overly difficult. He described this year’s paper as moderate in difficulty, noting that the environmental questions were somewhat challenging, while the sections on General Studies, Hindi, and Mathematics were easier.

Another student, Ayush Dwivedi, reported a positive experience with the exam. He stated that the level of the question paper was neither too hard nor too easy, but rather moderate. He mentioned that the computer section was a bit tough, while the papers on History, Political Science, Economics, and Geography were satisfactory.

The UPSSSC Lekhpal Recruitment Exam in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, was conducted peacefully under strict security measures across nine centers. To ensure a fair and transparent examination, the commission implemented rigorous security protocols and thorough checks for approximately 3,792 candidates.

Candidates were granted entry into the exam centers only after biometric verification and stringent screening, ensuring a fair and cheat-free environment throughout the state, including Prayagraj. One candidate remarked, “We came to Prayagraj. The facilities for the Lekhpal exam here were excellent. Candidates were allowed entry only after biometric verification.”

Another candidate commented on the organized nature of the checks, stating, “The examination was conducted in a very systematic manner. The government’s aim is to ensure that the exam is fair and proceeds smoothly, and with this in mind, all candidates underwent thorough checks before being allowed into the exam center.”
