Apurva Arora Discusses Challenges of Night Shoots in Upcoming Film Momaku

Mumbai, May 21: Actress Apurva Arora is fully prepared for the release of her upcoming film ‘Momaku.’ Set against a Haryanvi backdrop, the film will premiere on June 4 exclusively on the ‘Cable One OTT’ platform.

The story revolves around a bizarre incident that occurs on a cold night in a rural Haryana setting, which necessitated night-time shooting. In a recent conversation, Apurva shared her initial struggles in adjusting to the night shift schedule.

When asked about the shooting experience in such realistic locations, she replied, “The entire film was shot at night, and I had to adapt to the night schedule. In the first few days, it was challenging to adjust our body clocks, but eventually, we found our rhythm. We shot all night and slept during the day.”

Apurva also mentioned that shooting in Punjab made the experience memorable. “Honestly, being in Punjab made everything more enjoyable. The food, the atmosphere, and the people turned the experience into something unforgettable. When you love your work and are surrounded by dedicated individuals, stress naturally fades away,” she added.

Reflecting on her early career, Apurva recalled, “I started with theater, where you learn to work under challenging conditions. You manage everything yourself, gather your audience, and stay deeply connected to the entire process.”

Commenting on today’s fast-paced shooting culture and the increasing reliance on quick takes and editing, she noted, “For many, acting has become superficial. People focus more on glamour and looking good rather than performing their roles with sincerity. However, I believe that if you approach your work honestly as an actor, other things become less significant.”

Apurva praised her team, highlighting that everyone in the other departments was already doing a fantastic job.
