Ram Lakshman’s real name was Vijay Kashinath Patil. He composed music for over 150 films in Hindi, Bhojpuri, and Marathi, gaining special recognition for his contributions to Rajshri Productions. His career began in Marathi cinema, thanks to Dada Kondke, after which he also worked on several Hindi films.
The name Ram Lakshman symbolizes a musical duo that thrived in the romantic and family genres during the 1980s and 1990s.
