Pooja Gaur Talks About Her Role in the Upcoming Web Series Looteri Dulhan

Mumbai, May 21: Actress Pooja Gaur is set to star as Sub-Inspector Sandhya Yadav in the upcoming crime-suspense web series ‘Looteri Dulhan.’ This series is inspired by mysterious real-life incidents where brides disappear overnight after robbing their grooms. Gaur was deeply moved by the storyline, which is based on true events, prompting her to immediately join the project.

In an exclusive interview, she expressed her astonishment at the plot, stating, “The story shocked me the most. It is inspired by real events. Such incidents have occurred in various states, and when I heard the story, I couldn’t believe someone could deceive people so cleverly and meticulously. Marrying multiple men, robbing them, and then vanishing suddenly.”

Gaur found the concept incredibly surprising, but as an artist, her first thought was to create a compelling film or series on the subject. She described the series as a ‘dramedy,’ promising viewers a blend of comedy, suspense, emotion, thrill, and ample entertainment. “This is a show that families can watch together. The episodes are short and engaging, so viewers won’t even realize when they finish watching,” she added.

The series captures the essence of small towns in Madhya Pradesh. Discussing the language, body language, and atmosphere used in the series, Gaur emphasized that the aim was for the audience to connect with the story. “Thankfully, our story is based in Madhya Pradesh and central India, but we didn’t focus too much on a specific dialect or accent. Our main goal was to ensure that everyone could understand the story, so we kept the language simple and accessible. I believe this decision will help the show reach a wider audience.”
