Rajasthan Making Steady Progress Towards Energy Self-Reliance: CM Bhajanlal Sharma

New Delhi: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma met with Union Ministers Manohar Lal and J.P. Nadda in New Delhi on Wednesday to discuss key developmental issues concerning the state.

Highlighting Rajasthan’s advancements in the energy sector, CM Sharma said the state is steadily progressing towards becoming self-reliant and a leader in energy, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a “Developed India”.

In a post on the social media platform X, the Chief Minister shared that during a courtesy meeting with Union Minister of Energy, Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal, they engaged in detailed discussions on Rajasthan’s comprehensive development. The talks focused on important topics such as urban transport, metro expansion, new transmission projects in the energy sector, and strengthening battery energy storage systems.

Union Minister Manohar Lal also shared on X that the meeting involved extensive deliberations on critical transmission projects and enhancing the urban transport system in Rajasthan. He acknowledged Rajasthan’s vast potential and reaffirmed the commitment to its holistic development under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

Further, CM Bhajanlal Sharma mentioned a meeting with Union Minister J.P. Nadda, who oversees Health and Family Welfare, and Chemicals and Fertilizers. The discussion centred around strengthening health services in Rajasthan and the effective implementation of the National Health Mission. Both leaders expressed a firm commitment to providing accessible and advanced medical facilities to the people of Rajasthan.

This series of high-level engagements reflects Rajasthan’s ongoing efforts to achieve sustainable growth and improved public services, reinforcing its role as a key contributor to India’s development goals.
