Udaipur, May 3: A shocking robbery took place in the Saira police station area of Umrod village, targeting the home of a contractor. The incident resulted in the theft of valuables worth millions. Surprisingly, the woman present in the house remained unaware of the crime as it unfolded.
Thieves broke in through a locked door, accessing the upper part of the home and making off with approximately 7 kilograms of silver and 80,000 rupees in cash. The victim reported a total loss of around 11 lakhs.

The victim, Punaram Gameti, shared that he was at the temple while his wife was sleeping in the lower part of the house. During this time, unidentified thieves entered through the back and broke into the upper room, stealing valuable items and cash from the cupboard. The robbers escaped under the cover of darkness.

When family members ascended to the upper floor in the morning, they found the room in disarray and quickly realized they had been robbed.
