Deputy CM Harsh Sanghvi Visits Akhilam Township in Dholera

Mumbai, May 26: Gujarat’s Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi recently toured the Dholera Special Investment Region. The visit aimed to review ongoing development projects and assess the infrastructure being developed to meet the region’s anticipated growth.

Accompanying Sanghvi were Chief Minister’s advisor S.S. Rathod, Industry Secretary Mamta Verma, Tourism Secretary, and other officials.

The GAP Group’s Chairman Gopal Goswami, Managing Director Ambrish Parajia, and Executive Director Ravi Patel welcomed the Deputy CM. They presented him with a ‘resolution letter,’ a ‘conch shell,’ and a copy of the ‘Shreemad Bhagavad Gita.’ This gesture symbolized their collective commitment to contributing to the vision of a ‘Developed India.’

As part of the visit, the delegation toured the GAP Group’s ‘Akhilam’ township located in Dholera’s ‘Activation Area.’ Company representatives briefed the Deputy CM on the project’s progress and its role in addressing the area’s future residential and commercial needs. The delegation reviewed the studio apartments, co-working spaces, and food court facilities being developed within the township.

Sanghvi praised the development of these facilities and emphasized the importance of building quality residential and lifestyle infrastructure to support the rapid industrialization in the region. He encouraged developers to expedite project implementation to meet the expected demand from industries starting operations in Dholera.

The Deputy CM also indicated that there would be a significant increase in demand for ‘immediate occupancy’ housing in Dholera in the near future, as investments and industrial activities continue to gain momentum.

During the site tour, GAP Group officials informed the Deputy CM and the delegation about the construction of one of the largest RCC raft foundations for a residential project in Dholera. They highlighted the scale and engineering capabilities being utilized for this project.

Ambrish Parajia, Managing Director of GAP Group, stated that the visit by Deputy CM Harsh Sanghvi and senior government officials reflects the growing focus on Dholera’s development. Such interactions promote trust among developers and investors, strengthening their confidence in the emerging ecosystem.
