Governors and Chief Ministers of Telugu States Extend Holi Greetings

Hyderabad, March 3: The governors and chief ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have extended their warm wishes to the people on the occasion of Holi, celebrated on Tuesday in both Telugu states.

Governor of Telangana, Vishnu Dev Verma, conveyed his greetings to the people of Telangana. In his message, he described Holi as a vibrant festival that strengthens brotherhood and unity among people, symbolizing peace and prosperity in society. He emphasized that the joyous celebration of colors reinforces our faith and trust in national unity.

Verma noted that the festival transcends all social barriers and fortifies the social fabric. The mythological tales associated with Holi symbolize the triumph of good over evil and the power of truth.

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao also wished the people a colorful Holi, encouraging them to celebrate the festival with joy and enthusiasm. He stated that Holi represents a rainbow of love, affection, and happiness, as well as a symbol of peace and brotherhood. He urged everyone to celebrate using natural colors in traditional ways.

Chief Minister Rao remarked that Holi is a festival that signifies unity among people, regardless of caste and religion.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer extended heartfelt wishes to the people of Andhra Pradesh on Holi. He described the festival as a colorful and lively occasion that fosters a spirit of brotherhood and goodwill, bringing peace and prosperity to society.

Nazeer further stated that the joyous celebration of colors strengthens our belief in national unity. The festive spirit of Holi transcends social barriers, reinforcing the social fabric and symbolizing the victory of good over evil.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu also shared his Holi greetings, wishing everyone a joyful celebration. He mentioned that the festival, which begins with the symbolic ‘Kama Dahan’ representing the victory of good over evil, will fill our lives with new colors.

He expressed hope that everyone shares happiness with relatives, friends, and neighbors, and lives in peace and harmony.
