Vadodara witnessed a strong bowling performance from Delhi Capitals as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were bundled out for just 109 runs in the 15th match of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026.
RCB, who have won all five matches this season, are currently at the top of the points table and have already qualified for the next stage. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals have won two out of five matches and stand fourth in the points tally. Having lost to RCB by eight wickets on 17 January, Capitals aimed to bounce back and improve their position in the tournament.
RCB Batting Struggles
Batting first after losing the toss at BCA Stadium on Saturday, RCB managed only 109 runs. The opening pair of Grace Harris and captain Smriti Mandhana started well, adding 36 runs in 5.3 overs. Harris scored 9 runs off 13 balls with two fours before getting out. Mandhana then partnered with Georgia Voll, putting on 26 runs for the second wicket. Mandhana made 38 runs off 34 balls, including one six and six fours, before being dismissed.
Following Mandhana’s departure, wickets fell rapidly. Radha Yadav tried to stabilise the innings but could only score 18 runs off 17 balls, including one six. Only two batters managed to reach double figures in RCB’s innings.
Delhi Capitals’ Bowling Effort
Delhi Capitals’ bowlers dominated the innings. Nandini Sharma was the most successful, taking three wickets. Chinelle Henry, Marizanne Kapp, and Minnu Mani picked up two wickets each, while Sri Charani claimed one wicket. Their disciplined bowling restricted RCB to a modest total.
