Strengthening Ayurveda Innovation: AIIA-ICAINE Signs MoU with Rajasthan Ayurveda University

New Delhi, April 28: The All India Institute of Ayurveda – Incubation Center for Ayurveda Innovation and Entrepreneurship (AIIA-ICAINE) has signed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurveda University (DSRRAU), Jodhpur.

This partnership aims to foster innovation, research, technological advancement, and entrepreneurship in Ayurveda education, thereby developing a robust ecosystem. The MoU was signed on April 27, 2026, at the DSRRAU campus in Jodhpur. Professor (Vaidya) Pradeep Kumar Prajapati, Director of AIIA-ICAINE, and Professor (Vaidya) Govind Sahay Shukla, Vice-Chancellor of DSRRAU, represented their respective institutions during the signing ceremony, which was attended by senior faculty members, researchers, postgraduate students, and scholars.

In his address, Professor Pradeep Kumar Prajapati stated that this agreement is a crucial step towards elevating Ayurveda to new global heights and transforming traditional knowledge into evidence-based and market-oriented innovations. He emphasized AIIA-ICAINE’s commitment to developing a supportive ecosystem for Ayurveda-based innovation and entrepreneurship across academic institutions nationwide.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Govind Sahay Shukla remarked that this collaboration will open new avenues for innovation and entrepreneurship for students, researchers, and faculty members. It will strengthen the institution’s vision of “Harmonizing Tradition and Innovation for Global Welfare.” Sujit Eranethath, CEO of AIIA-ICAINE, added that this partnership will provide mentorship, training, capacity building, idea-pitching camps, entrepreneurship workshops, and opportunities for dialogue with industry stakeholders for students and researchers.

The MoU is initially set for a duration of three years. It will include joint brainstorming sessions, innovation challenges, and industry-academic dialogues. This agreement is expected to bolster the Ministry of AYUSH’s objectives related to innovation, entrepreneurship, and regional development, while promoting Ayurveda-inspired enterprises and strengthening traditional knowledge systems in a modern context.
