Two-Year-Old Boy Kidnapped from Banda Railway Station, Rescued by Police

Mumbai, May 25: A shocking incident occurred at Banda Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh, where a two-year-old boy was kidnapped. Upon receiving the report, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) quickly initiated a search. After extensive efforts, the district police were alerted under Dial 112, leading to the child’s safe recovery.

Additional Superintendent of Police Shivraj provided details about the case. On the night of May 24, at 8:30 PM, a call was made to Dial 112 reporting the abduction of a two-year-old boy by an unidentified man. Reviewing CCTV footage revealed that the incident took place at around 5:30 PM.

The child’s mother, Aarti, had arrived at Banda Railway Station with her brother and his family, intending to travel to Manikpur Railway Station before heading to Mumbai. The two-year-old boy, Shivansh, was also present at the station. To locate the child, several teams were formed under the direction of the Superintendent of Police.

According to the Additional Superintendent, surveillance footage indicated that the child was taken towards Tenduwari Road. When the local police set up a blockade, the suspect abandoned the child and attempted to flee by throwing him into a nearby canal. The accused, identified as Kishan, was apprehended and interrogated, leading to the child’s recovery from the canal.

The boy’s family was summoned, and teams from both GRP and RPF were present during the recovery. The child has been safely returned, and the investigation into the suspect is ongoing. A case has been registered against the accused at the GRP station, and further legal actions will be taken based on the findings.
