The M7 Plus uses silicon-carbon battery technology, making the design slimmer while delivering faster charging and improved battery life. According to POCO, the phone can deliver up to 144 hours of offline music playback, 27 hours of social media use, 12 hours of navigation, and 24 hours of video streaming. POCO claims the battery will retain 80 percent of its health even after four years of use. The device also supports 18W reverse charging for other phones or smaller devices.

The new POCO handset features a 6.9-inch FHD+ display (2340 x 1080 pixels), with a 144Hz refresh rate, 288Hz touch sampling rate, 700 nits peak brightness, and TUV Rheinland certification for eye protection.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, which was launched in June 2024 and is built on the 6nm process. The M7 Plus houses a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP front camera.

The M7 Plus runs HyperOS 2.0 with Android 15 out of the box. It will receive two OS upgrades (up to Android 17) and four years of security updates. The device also has an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The POCO M7 Plus is available in Chrome Silver, Aqua Blue, and Carbon Black colours.

The POCO M7 Plus is priced at Rs 13,999 for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and Rs 14,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The smartphone will be available for purchase from August 19th at 12 noon, exclusively on Flipkart.

In comparison to its predecessor, the POCO M6 Plus, the new model offers a faster chipset, a bigger battery, and a better IP rating, while the camera has been downgraded from 108MP to 50MP.
