Lucknow, May 4: The Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) has announced a recruitment notification for a total of 89 trainee apprentice positions. This includes 74 positions for ITI candidates and 15 for diploma holders.
The ITI trade vacancies consist of 20 for fitters, 6 for electricians, 10 for electronics mechanics, 5 for machinists, 4 for turners, 5 for welders (gas and electric), 3 for mechanic machine tool maintenance, 1 for plumbers, 14 for computer operator and programming assistants (COPA), 4 for sheet metal workers, and 2 for plastic processing operators.
For the full-time diploma positions, there are 2 openings in computer science/information technology, 3 in electronics engineering, 4 in mechanical engineering, 2 in modern office management and secretarial practice, and 4 in electrical engineering.
The last date to apply offline for these positions is set for May 15. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application forms by or before this date.
Applicants must possess a minimum of 50% marks in relevant qualifications from any recognized institution/university/board, including 10th and 12th grades, ITI trade with NCVT/SCVT certificates, and a full-time diploma (polytechnic). Additionally, candidates must be registered on the official NATs or NAPs portal and meet other specified eligibility criteria.
The minimum age for candidates is 18 years, while the maximum age is capped at 25 years, calculated as of April 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations. Selection of eligible candidates will be based on application screening, shortlisting, interviews, and document verification.
