Kharagpur, March 29: Political activity is intensifying ahead of the West Bengal Assembly elections. Candidates from various parties are campaigning vigorously to secure their victories while highlighting the shortcomings of their opponents. In this context, BJP candidate Dilip Ghosh has been relentlessly attacking the TMC government and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Dilip Ghosh stated, “The unrest in Bengal is affecting the entire nation. Infiltrators and terrorists coming from Bangladesh are ruining our country. Therefore, it is crucial to secure Bengal’s borders and restore law and order. This cannot happen until the BJP is in power and peace is established in the nation. The people of Bengal will respond to the TMC’s charge sheet.”
He further remarked, “Bengalis are respected worldwide. You (Mamata Banerjee) are bringing candidates from Bihar and Gujarat to contest elections. This clearly shows who supports whom. It indicates that the Bengali people are not with you. On the other hand, the BJP has worked alongside the people of Bengal.”
Earlier, on March 18, Dilip Ghosh made serious allegations against the TMC regarding the gas crisis and the electoral atmosphere in West Bengal. He claimed that the real reason for the gas shortage in Bengal is black marketing. He also mentioned that the TMC is aware of its impending defeat, which is why it is continuously obstructing BJP events.
Ghosh accused the TMC of deliberately creating tension and conflict during Ram Navami celebrations. He asserted that there is widespread manipulation in the state, with the TMC attempting to force people to vote for them.
