Randeep Hooda Reflects on 25 Years of Versatility in Acting

Mumbai, May 17: Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda is renowned for his powerful performances and diverse roles. Throughout his career, he has consistently chosen characters that allow him to explore new dimensions. Currently, he is in the spotlight for the second season of his web series ‘Inspector Avinash.’

Audiences are praising his work. In a recent conversation, Randeep discussed his life, acting, equestrian skills, and his habit of continuous self-evolution.

Beyond acting, Randeep is also recognized for his equestrian expertise. He has been a professional horse rider and has participated in several national competitions. Additionally, he openly shares his views on social issues.

When asked about the balance between acting and horse riding, Randeep stated, “Every task in life has a rhythm. Just as horse riding requires the horse’s gait, breath, and body balance, acting also has its own way of delivering dialogues, expressing emotions, and breathing.”

He added, “Each character has its unique pace and thought process. An actor must adapt accordingly. While I don’t overthink these aspects while acting, they naturally become part of my performance. The right balance enhances any task.”

Reflecting on his life, Randeep mentioned, “I have often broken my own limits. I can’t stay in the same role for too long. I have repeatedly tested myself in new ways, and this has become a habit.”

He continued, “In my 25-year acting career, I have experienced many ups and downs. There were times when I had to start over. Each time, I returned stronger. This change and struggle have kept my hunger for growth alive.”

The actor noted, “Because I continuously evolve, directors and producers enjoy casting me in varied roles. If an actor consistently plays the same type of role, there’s nothing new for the audience. Therefore, artists should regularly challenge themselves.”

Discussing his personal life, Randeep said, “Becoming a father has changed my perspective. I now want to live life more calmly. While I used to constantly seek new and different experiences, I now aim to maintain a stable rhythm in my work and life.”
