Arvind Rajbhar Confident of NDAs Victory in Upcoming Uttar Pradesh Elections

Lucknow, June 1: Arvind Rajbhar, the National General Secretary of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP), discussed the party’s preparations for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections in 2027. He stated that the SBSP is actively working to strengthen its organization and enhance its presence at the booth level. Rajbhar claimed that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will return to power with a significant majority in the next elections.

In an exclusive interview with a news agency, Rajbhar noted that as the elections approach, there is speculation in political circles about the possibility of early elections. Although no official announcement has been made yet, his party has accelerated its election preparations in light of these possibilities.

To this end, a national council meeting of the party was convened, during which it was decided to appoint election in-charges and co-in-charges for 34 assembly seats. He mentioned that the party has officially announced these appointments and made the list of officials public.

Rajbhar emphasized that his party consistently works at the grassroots level. They are organizing public forums in villages to connect extremely backward, backward castes, Dalits, Mahadalits, marginalized communities, and minorities with the organization. He explained that the appointments of in-charges and co-in-charges for 34 seats were made considering ethnic and social equations. He stated that as a part of the NDA, the party is preparing to contest elections vigorously on all the seats allocated to them, ensuring that the appointed leaders strengthen the organization in their respective areas and effectively advance the electoral campaign.

Regarding the possibility of early assembly elections, Rajbhar mentioned that, according to regulations, elections can be held six months before the scheduled time. He reiterated that no official announcement has been made yet, but the topic remains a matter of public discussion. In this context, he dismissed allegations made by Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav, who claimed that the NDA might attempt to hold early elections out of fear of public anger.

Rajbhar asserted that if anyone is afraid, it is the Samajwadi Party. He accused the party of failing to perform organizational work at the grassroots level, leading to a weakened hold at the booth level.

He stated that the SBSP and its NDA allies are continuously engaging with the public, while the opposition is limited to mere statements. He further noted that there is a growing perception among the public that Akhilesh Yadav’s politics has become confined to social media, press conferences, and air-conditioned rooms. He claimed that the grassroots support for the Samajwadi Party has weakened, which is why they appear concerned about the potential timeline for the elections.

Rajbhar concluded by expressing confidence that whether the elections are held on schedule or earlier, the people of Uttar Pradesh will once again place their trust in the NDA alliance. He asserted that based on the central and state government’s initiatives and the organizational efforts of the alliance parties, the NDA is poised to achieve a significant majority in the upcoming assembly elections.
