
Lucknow, June 1: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath honored exceptional students, their parents, and principals at a merit award ceremony held at Lok Bhawan on Monday. The event recognized students who excelled in various education boards across the state.
During the ceremony, CM Yogi presented checks, tablets, certificates, and medals to the achievers, wishing them a bright future. The hall resonated with applause as parents beamed with pride at their children’s accomplishments.
The first award went to Kashish Verma from Baburam Savitri Devi Inter College in Sitapur, who scored an impressive 97.83%. She was accompanied by her parents and principal during the recognition. Next, Anshika Verma from The Modern Academy Inter College in Barabanki was also honored. Other recipients included Shristi from Radha Devi Adarsh Sanskrit Higher Secondary School in Kannauj and Rajneesh Yadav from Shri Ram Tahal Sanskrit Higher Secondary School in Pratapgarh.
Shivam Awasthi from Lucknow Public College, Rajajipuram, drew attention with his remarkable score of 99.80%. The Chief Minister praised his achievement and congratulated his family and school. Ananya Garg and Shresthi Singh from Dr. Virendra Swaroop Education Center in Kanpur also received accolades for their 99.80% scores. Vaivasvat Narayan Dubey from City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar, was similarly honored for his outstanding performance.
A highlight of the event was the recognition of Ozsvi Pasricha from Shilling House School in Kanpur, who achieved a perfect score of 100%. CM Yogi described this accomplishment as extraordinary and congratulated both the student’s parents and teachers. The audience welcomed him with thunderous applause.
Daksh Vasudeva from Amity International School in Ghaziabad and Ashvik Jain from Presidium Indirapuram were also honored for their impressive 99.80% scores, bringing pride to the state. Meanwhile, Manvi Patel from Chikhar International School in Bareilly was recognized for her 99.66% achievement.
The ceremony celebrated students from the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council, Sanskrit Education Council, CBSE, and ICSE boards who excelled at the state level. The top ten students received one lakh rupees, tablets, certificates, and medals. Additionally, 1,459 meritorious students who ranked in the top ten at the district level were awarded 21,000 rupees, certificates, and medals.
