Jaipur, June 1: Rajasthan BJP President Madan Rathore, along with Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and other senior leaders, has welcomed the appointment of Ajay Kumar as the party’s General Secretary (Organization) in the state. Kumar, a former state general secretary of the Uttarakhand BJP, is expected to bring new energy and strength to the organization.
Rathore congratulated Kumar, highlighting his extensive organizational experience and dedication to party workers. He expressed confidence that under Kumar’s guidance, the state unit would reach new heights and accelerate efforts related to organizational expansion and public service.
Describing Kumar as a highly skilled organizer with vast experience in both ideological and organizational spheres, Rathore noted that Kumar began his public life in 1997 as an RSS pracharak in Srinagar (Garhwal) and has since held several significant responsibilities within the Sangh and BJP.
Over the years, Kumar has served as a city pracharak in Srinagar, Haridwar, and Haldwani, a district pracharak in Udham Singh Nagar, and a divisional pracharak in Almora Mandal. He later strengthened organizational efforts as a divisional pracharak in the Moradabad and Bijnor Mandals of western Uttar Pradesh.
Rathore further mentioned that Kumar has also worked as the provincial head of intellectual training in the Meerut province, where he provided ideological guidance and training to party workers. In 2018, he was appointed as the regional general secretary (organization) for western Uttar Pradesh, and since 2019, he has played a crucial role as the state general secretary (organization) of Uttarakhand BJP.
According to Rathore, under Kumar’s leadership, the BJP organization in Uttarakhand has made significant progress in discipline, cadre expansion, membership campaigns, training programs, and the implementation of national campaigns. His efforts to strengthen booth-level structures, improve coordination between the organization and the government, and expand party activities in remote areas have been widely appreciated.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also congratulated Kumar, stating that his appointment in a politically significant state like Rajasthan reflects his organizational capability, leadership skills, and nationally recognized results-oriented work. Sharma expressed confidence that Kumar’s guidance would make the Rajasthan BJP organization stronger, more dynamic, and focused on the public, effectively addressing upcoming political and organizational challenges.
Wishing Kumar a successful and illustrious tenure, Sharma added that his professional expertise and extensive organizational experience would further strengthen the state unit and energize the BJP’s ideological reach, organizational expansion, and commitment to public service.
