Paris, September 21 (Daily KiranNews): Huawei has unveiled the WATCH D2 Blue Edition at its Global Innovative Product Launch event in Paris. The updated smartwatch is priced at £349.99 in the UK, which is £30 higher than the Black and Gold variants launched last year.

The WATCH D2 Blue Edition retains the core features of the earlier model, focusing on medical-grade health monitoring. It supports 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), single and recurring reminders for regular checks, and generates detailed reports with average systolic/diastolic values, pulse rates, and daytime/nighttime readings. The device complies with European Society of Hypertension guidelines and is CE-MDR certified as a medical device.
Powered by Huawei’s TruSense system, the watch integrates a high-precision pressure sensor, a mini pump, and a 26.5 mm inflatable airbag in the strap. It features a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with 480 × 408 resolution, 1500-nit peak brightness, and an aluminum alloy case. The device weighs 40 g without the strap and is available in Blue, Black, and Gold, with fluoroelastomer or leather straps.
Key health functions include 10 health indicators via Health Glance, Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis, ECG reports, continuous heart rate monitoring, stress tracking, SpO₂ measurement, sleep analysis, and skin temperature monitoring. For fitness, the watch supports 80+ exercise modes, automatic recognition for six activities, and GNSS positioning.
Lifestyle features include Bluetooth calling, NFC, screenshot capture, and customizable cards. The smartwatch is compatible with Android 8.0 and later and iOS 13.0 and later. Battery life is rated at up to six days on typical use and one day with ABPM enabled. It supports wireless charging and comes with an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, though it is not suitable for swimming.
Buyers will also receive a three-month Huawei Health+ subscription, offering guided workouts, meditation sessions, and personalised wellness plans.
