Beijing, May 14: Chinese President Xi Jinping met with American business leaders who accompanied President Donald Trump on Thursday morning at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
During the meeting, President Trump stated that he brought along top representatives from the American business sector who respect and value China. He encouraged them to enhance cooperation with China. Trump personally introduced President Xi to all the entrepreneurs present.
The American business leaders expressed their high regard for the Chinese market and their desire to deepen their operations in China while increasing collaboration.
In response, President Xi emphasized that American companies have been deeply involved in China’s reform and opening-up initiatives, benefiting both sides. He assured that China’s doors to openness will continue to widen.
