Tridha Chaudhary Discusses The Last Question: More Than Just a Film, Its a Feeling

Kolkata, May 14: Actress Tridha Chaudhary plays a pivotal role in the film ‘The Last Question.’ The movie’s narrative revolves around significant issues such as the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the Babri Masjid. Tridha and fellow actress Sameera Reddy shared their insights and experiences regarding the film.

Tridha emphasized that this film is not merely a project; it embodies a profound sentiment. She stated, “I portray a student named Sara. I believe educational institutions are where future leaders are shaped. Each of us holds our own ideologies, and we have unwavering faith in them.”

She further noted that cinema possesses the power to grant ‘cinematic freedom’ to express one’s thoughts. Highlighting the film’s objective, she remarked, “The aim is not to divide society but to connect people through serious contemplation. Through this film, we emphasize the crucial role ideology plays in an individual’s life.”

Sameera Reddy is making her comeback to the screen after a long hiatus with this film. She portrays a woman with leftist ideologies, challenging the situations within the story.

Expressing her joy upon returning to Kolkata, Sameera said, “I want to sincerely thank everyone present here. I am thrilled to be back in the City of Joy. Seeing Mithun Da after 20 years was a delightful moment. It was a moment I was genuinely excited about. It felt great to see Mithun Da again. I believe the most impactful aspect of the script, especially with a National Award-winning director like Abhijit Varn, is that he is not preaching. He is simply presenting the facts.”

Sameera described her character, Dr. Pallavi, as someone with separatist ideologies. She explained, “This character probes into suppressed questions within society and stirs conversations among people. Portraying such a strong and challenging role as a female artist was exciting for me.”
