Yogi Government Launches AI for All Initiative to Empower Youth in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, May 14: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government is actively working to connect youth with future technologies, creating new employment and self-employment opportunities. In this effort, the state government has effectively implemented the ‘AI for All’ initiative, which provides free artificial intelligence (AI) training to every citizen.

The Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission is rapidly advancing this campaign under the guidance of Minister of State for Vocational Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, Kapil Dev Agarwal. This program is being conducted in collaboration with the global IT organization Oracle University.

The ambitious initiative was launched by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on April 13 during a large employment fair held in Muzaffarnagar. The aim of the Yogi government is to equip the youth, students, candidates preparing for competitive exams, and common citizens with modern technologies, preparing them for the digital economy.

Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal stated that artificial intelligence is bringing significant changes to employment, industry, and work culture on a global scale. The Uttar Pradesh government aims to ensure that the youth of the state become technically proficient and can take advantage of new opportunities. He has instructed officials to ensure widespread promotion of this initiative in villages, towns, and cities so that more people can benefit from this free training.

He emphasized that the Yogi government’s focus is not limited to traditional employment but also on training youth in line with future needs, making them self-reliant. This is why the state is continuously introducing new initiatives in the field of skill development. The program includes a course titled ‘AI for You: Training and Assessment,’ which lasts approximately three hours and is conducted entirely online.

After completing the training, participants undergo an online assessment, and successful candidates receive certificates that will aid in their career development. Pulkit Khare, Mission Director of the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, stated that all district program management units have been instructed to ensure maximum registrations to make this initiative accessible to everyone. Interested candidates can register for free training from the comfort of their homes via the ‘AI for All’ tab on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission.
