New Delhi, May 6: Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Watch 6 and Redmi Watch 6 NFC outside of China, following its initial release in October. The international availability currently includes Poland, Romania, and Thailand, with the NFC model exclusively available in Poland for now.
The Redmi Watch 6 boasts a 2.07-inch AMOLED display featuring a 60Hz refresh rate, a pixel density of 324ppi, 2mm symmetrical bezels, and an 82% screen-to-body ratio. Xiaomi claims that the display can achieve peak brightness levels of up to 2,000 nits, enhancing visibility in outdoor settings. The smartwatch also offers an always-on display and a raise-to-wake feature.
With a slim 9.9mm profile, the watch employs a unibody design crafted from an aluminum alloy frame. Xiaomi states that it is 1.4mm thinner than its predecessor, featuring 20% higher Vickers hardness and a 40% increase in yield point. The design includes a raised stainless steel dial and an additional physical button, which can be used to access the control center, reboot the device, or trigger an emergency contact shortcut with three presses.
Battery performance is another standout feature. The Redmi Watch 6 is equipped with a 550mAh battery, promising up to 24 days of life with light usage, 12 days with regular use, and seven days under intensive conditions. It also incorporates a linear motor with over 20 vibration patterns for alerts related to alarms, notifications, fitness, and health.
For fitness enthusiasts, the watch supports more than 150 sports modes, is rated 5ATM for water resistance, and features independent GNSS. The GNSS system utilizes dual L1 antennas and supports five different systems to enhance positioning accuracy. Xiaomi claims the watch can automatically select the antenna with the strongest signal based on how it is worn.
Health monitoring features include continuous heart rate tracking, blood oxygen level monitoring, stress assessment, sleep analysis, breathing exercises, alerts for abnormal heart rates, low blood oxygen notifications, and women’s health management. The Redmi Watch 6 NFC variant adds the convenience of contactless payments via Mastercard and Visa.

Prices for the standard model start at PLN 449, RON 519, and THB 3,190, while the NFC version is priced at PLN 499 in Poland.
