Beijing, May 6: Ugreen has launched its latest 45W power bank, the Rhythm Series S45 (model PB603), now available on JD.com in China for 199 yuan ($29). This power bank features a 10,000mAh capacity and addresses a common issue: forgetting to bring a charging cable. With an integrated USB-C cable, it provides a convenient solution for keeping devices charged while on the move.
Ugreen PB603 Power Bank Specifications
The device measures 152 x 71 x 29.8 mm and has a ripple-textured finish for better grip. A small TFT digital display on the front shows the remaining battery percentage clearly.
The built-in 45W USB-C cable, located at the top, supports the PD3.0 fast charging standard and features a braided design for durability. Ugreen has not yet disclosed the complete port selection.
Inside, the power bank utilizes ATL battery cells, known for their reliability in the industry. Ugreen claims this model incorporates updated battery technology to enhance its overall lifespan.
The new model reportedly offers a 166% improvement in charge cycle longevity compared to its predecessor, which was rated for approximately 300 cycles.
For safety, it employs a proprietary Battery Management System (BMS) to monitor charging conditions. Ugreen states that the device has undergone over 150 testing procedures to comply with China’s latest 3C safety standards.
Among these tests, Ugreen claims the battery cell passed a puncture test with a 4mm steel needle and withstood 1.43 tons of pressure without igniting or failing. It also reportedly survived a heat chamber test at 135°C.
To maintain optimal temperatures during 45W fast charging, the device features a four-layer cooling system. This includes high thermal conductivity graphene materials and an NTC intelligent temperature control system, which performs up to 360,000 temperature checks per hour to prevent overheating.
In related news, OnePlus has recently launched a 15,000mAh power bank with 120W fast charging and enhanced battery safety technology.
