Ashwin Kaushal Discusses Adaptation in the Evolving Entertainment Industry

Mumbai, June 3: Actor Ashwin Kaushal is currently in the spotlight for his role in the micro-drama series “Baby Doll.” In this series, he portrays an experienced talent agent. During a recent interview, he shared intriguing insights about his character.

Kaushal explained, “This character is inspired by certain aspects of my real-life personality. I have always been known as a fun-loving and cheerful person, and this trait is clearly reflected in my role. Throughout my career, my sense of humor has been my greatest strength.”

He further elaborated, “The story sheds light on some essential life lessons. It emphasizes the importance of being cautious and not letting our emotions dictate our decisions, whether good or bad.”

When asked about the experience of working in a “vertical-format series,” he responded, “Every type of work comes with its own challenges. We must keep pace with the times. Our industry is changing, and we need to adapt accordingly. Change is a natural part of life. Whether it’s a new format, new technology, or a different storytelling style, we should embrace it wholeheartedly and continue to move forward.”

Kaushal added, “Emotions in cinema have never diminished. Regardless of whether the camera or platform is small or large, emotions remain unchanged. From the grand epics of history, like the Ramayana and Mahabharata, to today, human emotions have stayed the same. Tears, joy, love, and pain are universal experiences.”

Having been a part of the industry for a long time, Ashwin Kaushal has worked in numerous popular TV serials and web series. Reflecting on his extensive career, he stated, “I am grateful to have spent four decades in the film industry. This is a significant achievement in itself. The film industry is like a vast ocean, constantly reinventing itself. Only those with dedication, honesty, and perseverance can thrive in it.”
