Mumbai, May 27: Film producer and director Vipul Amrutlal Shah is currently in the spotlight for his upcoming film, ‘Governor.’ When asked about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 12-year tenure, Shah expressed his happiness regarding India’s leadership under Modi. He noted that India’s image has transformed globally, positioning the country as a formidable global power.
In an interview, Shah stated, “The world now views India in a completely different light. The country has made rapid advancements in various sectors, and there is a growing confidence among people about the new India. We are witnessing the dawn of a new era, and India is on a path to becoming one of the most powerful nations in the world.”
He extended his best wishes to Prime Minister Modi and his government, expressing his hope that they lead the nation for a long time and help achieve the goal of a ‘developed India’ by 2047.
Reflecting on his career, Vipul Shah began his journey in Gujarati theater, directing several popular plays. He then transitioned to films, gradually establishing himself as a successful director and producer in Bollywood. His debut Gujarati film, ‘Dariya Chhoru,’ earned him recognition.
Shah made his directorial debut in Hindi cinema with the film ‘Aankhen,’ which was well-received and became a box office hit. The film featured prominent actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, and Paresh Rawal. He won audiences over with subsequent successful films such as ‘Waqt: The Race Against Time,’ ‘Namaste London,’ and ‘Singh is Kinng.’ Alongside directing, Shah has produced several notable films, including ‘Force,’ ‘Commando,’ ‘Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty,’ and ‘The Kerala Story,’ many of which performed exceptionally well at the box office.
Shah has also been active in the television industry, directing the popular show ‘Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka,’ which enjoyed a long run among viewers.
