SSC GD Constable Exam Canceled Amid Irregularities, Arvind Kejriwal Questions Government

New Delhi, May 27: Following the recent NEET UG paper leak, reports of irregularities have emerged regarding the SSC General Duty (GD) Constable exam. Multiple centers have seen the cancellation of the exam due to complaints of overcrowding and administrative chaos.

On Tuesday, the SSC decided to cancel the GD Constable exam at several centers. This decision came after numerous complaints about double the expected number of students showing up and ongoing administrative issues.

Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal took to social media platform ‘X’ to express his concerns. He stated, “After NEET and CBSE Class 12, we are now hearing about irregularities in SSC GD as well.”

He further added, “There are complaints of server failures and that many exam centers called in more students than they could accommodate.” Kejriwal questioned the government, asking, “What kind of government cannot conduct a single exam properly?”

In a post shared by Kejriwal, a student expressed her frustration over the cancellation. She remarked, “If there were no seats, students should not have been called for the exam.” The student, visibly upset, continued, “We have faced immense pressure and difficulties to get here, but the government seems indifferent.”

She added, “We left for the exam at 4:30 AM directly from the library, but the government and the system do not care.”

It is important to note that the SSC GD Constable exam, originally scheduled for May 25 and 26, has been rescheduled for May 27 (Wednesday) due to the overcrowding and administrative issues at the centers.
