Nalasopara, May 27: BJP legislator Rajan Naik highlighted the achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government as it marks 12 years in power. He stated that during this period, India has carved out a unique identity on the global stage, significantly boosting the nation’s self-esteem.
In an interview, Naik emphasized that under Modi’s leadership, the BJP government has ushered in new dimensions of development for the country. As the government celebrates its 12-year milestone, he noted that India has made progress across various sectors. The self-esteem of Indians has notably increased worldwide. Previously, Indians traveling abroad did not receive much respect, but the situation has changed dramatically.
Naik pointed out that India’s economy has consistently strengthened, improving its ranking among the world’s largest economies. He mentioned that the nation’s economic position has risen from tenth to fourth place, with expectations of further advancement in the coming years. By 2047, India is on a clear path to becoming a global leader.
Discussing various government initiatives, Naik stated that welfare for the poor and upliftment of the marginalized have been core agendas for the BJP. Programs such as the Swachh Bharat Mission, Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Skill Development Scheme, and Kisan Samman Nidhi have significantly transformed the lives of ordinary citizens. He recalled how Modi emphasized cleanliness in his first address from the Red Fort, leading to increased awareness about sanitation across the nation.
Naik also noted improvements in agricultural support, mentioning that farmers no longer have to wait in long lines for urea, thanks to better management. The Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative is propelling the country forward at a rapid pace.
He expressed confidence that under Modi’s leadership, India will swiftly advance towards becoming the number one country in the world.
