Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Energy Minister Pradyumn Singh Tomar has firmly stated that negligence in the implementation of the Solution Scheme will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
During a video conference review of departmental plans, Minister Tomar emphasized the need to ensure continuous and quality electricity supply to farmers, domestic consumers, and industries across the state. He stressed that the issue of frequent tripping must be minimised.
Engaging with chief engineers and superintending engineers, the minister sought detailed updates on electricity supply and the progress of the Solution Scheme. He urged the officials to guarantee adequate power supply to farmers during the Rabi season and to maintain strict discipline in maintenance activities.
Minister Tomar also requested comprehensive information regarding outstanding electricity bills within the Solution Scheme, specifying how much is recoverable and how much is not. He directed that immediate action be taken against major defaulters.
He underscored the importance of providing quality electricity to consumers while ensuring efficient bill recovery. Rectification of incorrect electricity bills should be treated as a priority, and notices must be issued wherever negligence is found in executing tasks.
