Lucknow, May 18: Following the allocation of departments in Uttar Pradesh, ministers have reacted to comments made by leaders of the Samajwadi Party. They stated that Akhilesh Yadav should focus on his party, as there is a lack of trust among the people, leading many to leave the Samajwadi Party.
After the appointment of six new ministers to various departments, Akhilesh Yadav made a sarcastic remark on social media, saying, “Your people are failing, and the village’s reputation is at stake.”
In response to Yadav’s comments, State Minister (Independent Charge) Somendra Tomar stated, “The BJP is concerned about the entire Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi. We are continuously moving forward on the path of development. Akhilesh Yadav should focus on his party and maintain the trust of his people, as there is a situation of distrust within the Samajwadi Party. This is why people are leaving.”
Tomar further commented on the department allocation, saying, “We will work according to the guidance and directives of the Chief Minister. We will fulfill our responsibilities with integrity.”
After the cabinet expansion and department allocation, Minister O.P. Rajbhar remarked, “The government has fulfilled the constitutional arrangement for 60 ministers and ensured representation for all.”
He added, “The opposition was so troubled that they lost their sleep and appetite, but now they are free from that worry. They can now sleep until noon, wake up to tweet, hold press conferences at 2 PM, and then relax.”
Meanwhile, Minister Manoj Pandey expressed his gratitude for being part of the first cabinet meeting. He said, “I am grateful to the top leadership for this opportunity.”
