Mumbai, May 18: Renowned director Subhash Ghai continues to enchant audiences with his cinematic magic. On Monday, he reminisced about the inspiration behind creating timeless films in Indian cinema.

Ghai shared images of his favorite directors on Instagram, stating, “When a film is simply liked, it becomes a hit. When people discuss it, it’s a good film, and when it’s remembered for a long time, it becomes a classic.”

Looking back at his life, Ghai revealed his childhood passion for films. He mentioned, “I used to sneak out of school to watch movies. Those films became an easy way for me to learn about Indian cinema.”

He also discussed his educational journey, noting, “At the age of 22, I joined the Film and Television Institute of India, where I had the opportunity to understand world cinema closely. However, I chose to work in commercial cinema in Mumbai, deeply respecting my favorite filmmakers.”

His post has garnered significant attention, with fans praising him in the comments section.

Subhash Ghai is one of the prominent directors in the film industry, known for delivering remarkable films and providing opportunities to new talent. His notable works include ‘Kali Charan,’ ‘Vishwanath,’ ‘Karma,’ ‘Ram Lakhan,’ and ‘Taal,’ among others.

Currently, Ghai runs an acting institute called Whistling Woods International, regarded as one of the top 10 film schools globally. At this institute, he trains aspiring actors in acting and film production.
