It is believed to be one of the 108 Siddh Peeths, a highly sacred Shakti Peeth. Situated at an altitude of approximately 3000-5500 feet above sea level, this temple is said to be the site where the navel of Goddess Sati fell. It is believed that every sincere wish made here is fulfilled.
