
New Delhi, May 9: Every month, the Krishna Paksha Ashtami is celebrated as Kalashtami and Monthly Krishna Ashtami. This month, the Ashtami falls on Sunday during the month of Jyeshtha. This date is dedicated to Lord Kal Bhairav and Lord Krishna. Devotees worship both deities on all Ashtami dates throughout the year.
The Ashtami date will remain until 3:06 PM on Sunday, after which the Navami date will commence. However, according to the Udayatithi, the entire day will still be considered Ashtami. Regarding the Nakshatra, the Dhanishta Nakshatra will last until 12:50 AM, after which the Shatabhisha Nakshatra will take its place.
On Sunday, sunrise will occur at 5:34 AM, and sunset will be at 7:02 PM. According to astrology, the Brahma Yoga will last all day on May 10 and until 2:09 AM on May 11. The Karan Kaulav will be in effect until 3:06 PM, after which the Taitil Karan will begin.
It is advisable to avoid important tasks during inauspicious times such as Rahukal, Yamgand, and Durmuhurta. Conversely, one can take advantage of auspicious times to start new ventures.
For Sunday’s auspicious timings, Brahma Muhurat will be from 4:09 AM to 4:51 AM. The morning Sandhya will be from 4:30 AM to 5:34 AM. The Abhijit Muhurat, considered favorable for good deeds, will be from 11:51 AM to 12:45 PM. The Vijay Muhurat will occur from 2:32 PM to 3:26 PM, and the Godhuli Muhurat will be from 7:00 PM to 7:22 PM.
The evening Sandhya will last from 7:02 PM to 8:05 PM. The Amrit Kaal, which is excellent for auspicious tasks, will be from 1:49 PM to 3:30 PM. Additionally, the Nishita Muhurat will be from 11:56 PM to 12:38 PM the next day (May 11).
Considering inauspicious times is also crucial. Rahukal will be from 5:21 PM to 7:02 PM, during which starting any auspicious or new work is prohibited. Yamgand will be from 12:18 PM to 1:59 PM, Gulika Kaal from 3:40 PM to 5:21 PM, and Durmuhurta from 5:14 PM to 6:08 PM.
