Pune, May 31: A shocking incident has emerged from Danapur, Bihar, where a young man’s body was discovered under suspicious circumstances in the women’s coach of the Danapur-Pune Special Train. This alarming event has caused a stir throughout the railway premises.
Ajay Kumar, the officer in charge of the Danapur Government Railway Police (GRP), reported that the incident occurred in the women’s coach of train number 01449, which travels from Pune to Danapur and returns as 01450. Upon the train’s arrival at the station, the Railway Protection Force and staff conducted a routine inspection and found the women’s coach door locked from the inside. After managing to open the door, they discovered the body of a young man in a suspicious state.
Preliminary information suggests that the deceased was between 25 and 30 years old. The body was found inside the women’s coach, and initial investigations indicate that he may have committed suicide using his belt. However, police clarified that this is merely an initial assumption, and the true cause will be determined after the post-mortem report.
Upon receiving news of the incident, railway authorities and the GRP team promptly arrived at the scene. A Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team was also called to collect essential evidence from the site. The team conducted a thorough investigation and gathered evidence.
FSL experts initially indicated that the young man had died some time ago. However, the exact time and cause of death remain under investigation. Police stated that all aspects are being considered to uncover the truth behind the incident.
As of now, the identity of the deceased has not been established. No identification documents, mobile phone, or other belongings were found with him. Consequently, police are proceeding with the investigation while treating him as an unidentified individual.
