Mumbai, May 29: Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher is making headlines with his new film ‘Shri Ram Bhumi.’ The shooting for this much-anticipated project has officially commenced. The film is expected to portray themes of faith, sacrifice, truth, and a significant chapter in modern India.
The movie is a collaboration between ZEE Studios, Dancing Shiva Films, and Cinecorn Entertainment. It is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Kamakhya Narayan Singh. Alongside Anupam Kher, actors Ritvik Bhattacharya and Amruta Khanvilkar will also play pivotal roles. While the filmmakers have kept the storyline under wraps, the title alone has piqued the audience’s curiosity.
To mark the film’s launch, the production team shared several photos on social media, showcasing the entire cast during a prayer ceremony. The post stated, “This is not just a title but a story connected to emotions, and its journey has now begun.”
Fans on social media are expressing their excitement about the film. Many believe that Anupam Kher will once again deliver a powerful performance.
In addition to ‘Shri Ram Bhumi,’ Anupam Kher is also in the spotlight for the sequel to his hit film ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla.’ Released in 2006, the original film was well-received by audiences. In the sequel, Anupam Kher will reprise his beloved character Kamal Kishore Khosla.
Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla 2’ will see the return of several original cast members, including Boman Irani, Parveen Dabas, Ranvir Shorey, Kiran Juneja, and Tara Sharma. Actor Ravi Kishan will also play a significant role in the film.
Anupam Kher is also collaborating with director Sooraj Barjatya on a new project, although details about the film’s title and storyline have yet to be revealed.
