Mumbai, May 28: Bollywood actor Ali Fazal is renowned for his exceptional acting skills and unique roles. He often finds himself in the spotlight regarding his personal life. Recently, he appeared on Shekhar Suman’s show, “Shekhar Tonight,” where he candidly discussed the changes he has experienced since becoming a father.
In a promotional clip for the show, Ali Fazal shared that the birth of his daughter has completely transformed his perspective, emotions, and outlook on life.
When Shekhar Suman asked him how life has been since fatherhood, Ali responded, “Life has changed entirely. Fatherhood is an experience that cannot be fully expressed in words. No matter how much people talk about it, one cannot grasp its true depth until they experience it themselves. It is the most genuine feeling in the world.”
He further elaborated, “After becoming a father, I no longer view the world the same way. A new sensitivity has emerged in my thinking. My daughter has taught me the importance of small things. Every time I look at her, I see a new facet of life.”
Ali provided an example, saying, “If a child is playing in a room, everyone present instinctively turns their attention to that child. I have always felt this, and now, as a father, I understand it even more deeply.”
During the conversation, Ali Fazal also drew a beautiful comparison between children and cinema. He remarked, “Children’s behavior is much like film editing. One moment they are thinking about something entirely different, and the next, their world changes. Just as a scene transforms after a cut in a film, children present new emotions and energy at every moment.”
He concluded, “Looking at my daughter, I realized that this is the true focus and essence of cinema, as children’s worlds are completely unpredictable.”
Ali added, “Children have their own unique world. They possess their own music, rhythm, and energy. Sometimes they appear calm and sweet, while at other times, they can be quite noisy. But that is their greatest beauty. Now, I find myself viewing cinema with a more emotional perspective than ever before.”
