Indian Oil Confirms Steady LPG Supply Amid Global Challenges

New Delhi, April 3: Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) announced on Friday that the supply of domestic gas in the country remains stable, with approximately 2.8 million LPG cylinders being delivered daily.

The state-owned oil company reassured consumers that there is no shortage, despite global challenges affecting operations.

In a post on social media, Indian Oil stated, “We are ensuring uninterrupted LPG supply to households across the country, with nearly 2.8 million cylinders distributed each day. Our operations remain stable despite geopolitical challenges.”

The company highlighted that around 87% of LPG bookings are now made through digital platforms such as SMS and IVRS, with deliveries verified via DAC OTP to ensure customer satisfaction.

Indian Oil is actively addressing customer concerns through official support channels. The company clarified that oil marketing companies (OMCs) are continuously providing 5 kg FTL cylinders to migrant workers upon presentation of valid identification, facilitating smooth and accessible distribution.

The oil company emphasized, “We have made adequate arrangements to maintain continuous availability, and there are no disruptions in supply. Therefore, there is no need for concern or panic, as we are closely monitoring the situation and managing requirements effectively.”

Indian Oil further stated, “Domestic LPG consumers are our top priority. We are ensuring seamless supply through authorized distributors nationwide and are closely monitoring to prevent black marketing. Please book your LPG only through official channels and choose OTP-based delivery for a safe and reliable experience.”

The company advised the public not to believe misleading information circulating on social media and warned that filling petrol in bottles or open containers is not only unsafe but also illegal.
