Gaurav Vallabh Criticizes Pawan Kheras Allegations as False and Malicious

New Delhi, May 15: Economist and BJP leader Gaurav Vallabh has launched a fierce attack on Congress leader Pawan Khera and the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha. He described the allegations against Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s wife as false and baseless, claiming they were an attempt to undermine democracy and the electoral process.

Vallabh stated, “Pawan Khera has made false, misleading, and unfounded accusations against a non-political woman. This is akin to committing a sin. The intent was to influence democracy and the Constitution. They attempted to disrupt the electoral process. Whatever punishment is prescribed by India’s judicial system for such acts, they will surely face it.”

When asked if Rahul Gandhi was behind these allegations, he replied, “I do not have concrete information on this matter, so I cannot name anyone without facts. However, those responsible should receive the strictest punishment under India’s judicial system.”

Vallabh also questioned the Congress party’s political standing, noting that they have lost elections in Assam for the third consecutive time, with their seat count decreasing each time. In West Bengal, he remarked that the party has nearly vanished.

He referenced Tamil Nadu’s political landscape, stating that while Congress advanced with the help of allies, they later betrayed them. “Just five days ago, DMK leaders were like Rahul Gandhi’s elder brothers, but now they refuse to even recognize Stalin,” he added.

Vallabh characterized Rahul Gandhi’s politics as “opportunistic politics,” asserting that such an approach does not benefit any leader in the long run.
