China-Europe Rail Service Sees Significant Growth in Early 2026

Beijing, March 12: According to a report from China Railway Group on March 12, there has been a notable improvement in both volume and quality of the China-Europe freight train service from January to February this year, with a total of 3,501 trains operated.

Since the beginning of this year, China Railway Group has strengthened transportation organization and scientifically planned the operations of China-Europe freight trains. They have collaborated with customs officials, optimized the China Railway Logistics 95306 ‘Digital Port’ system, and continuously improved the efficiency of railway port clearance. Additionally, they have enhanced cooperation with railway departments in countries along the route to ensure timely operations of China-Europe freight trains throughout the journey, maintaining a stable schedule.

The 14 China-Europe freight train assembly centers located in China have bolstered cargo sourcing and end-to-end transport monitoring to provide high-quality international logistics services. This ensures that China-Europe freight trains continue to operate across the country during the Spring Festival holidays. From January to February, the China-Europe freight service operated a total of 3,501 trains, transporting 352,000 TEUs of cargo. This represents a year-on-year increase of 32% and 25%, respectively, ensuring the stability and smooth operation of international industrial and supply chains.
