
Patna, March 21: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited Gaya and Aurangabad on Friday as part of the fourth phase of the ‘Samriddhi Yatra’ and inaugurated numerous development projects.
In Gaya, the Chief Minister laid the foundation for 140 projects and inaugurated 553 completed initiatives, dedicating them to the local populace. Local MP and Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi welcomed him.
During the visit, Kumar inspected stalls set up by various government departments, interacted with beneficiaries, and distributed checks for assistance.
Addressing a large gathering at a public dialogue event, the Chief Minister reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Gaya and the state as a whole. He highlighted significant progress in infrastructure, governance, and public services since 2005.
Kumar urged citizens to work collectively to realize the dream of a ‘Developed Bihar,’ emphasizing the need for unity and continuous efforts to maintain the momentum of development.
The ‘Samriddhi Yatra’ aims to showcase development initiatives and strengthen direct contact between the government and the public across various districts.
Continuing the outreach campaign under the ‘Samriddhi Yatra,’ Nitish Kumar announced several development plans for Aurangabad during his visit on Friday.
In Aurangabad, he laid the foundation for 120 projects and inaugurated 142 completed initiatives, dedicating them to the people of the district.
He also inspected stalls set up by different government departments showcasing ongoing projects, engaged with beneficiaries, and reviewed feedback regarding grassroots implementation.
The Chief Minister distributed checks to beneficiaries of various welfare programs.
In his address at the public dialogue event, Kumar reiterated his government’s commitment to the overall development of Aurangabad and encouraged the people to actively participate in the state’s progress.
Notable attendees included Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Ministers Vijay Kumar Chaudhary and Santosh Kumar Suman, along with MLAs Chetan Anand, Lalan Ram, Prakash Chandra, Pramod Kumar Singh, and MLC Dilip Kumar Singh.
