Step-by-Step: How to Apply Online for Old Age Pension
Visit the official SSPMIS portal: https://www.sspmis.bihar.gov.in
On the homepage, click on:
‘Register for MVPY – Registration for Mukhyamantri Vridhajan Pension Yojana’Select your district and block.
Enter details: Voter ID, Aadhaar Number, and Date of Birth.
Perform Aadhaar Verification by clicking on ‘Validate Aadhaar’.
After successful verification, click ‘Proceed’.
Fill in personal details—name, gender, category (SC/ST/OBC/Gen), mobile number.
Enter address details—Panchayat, Village, Ward No., and Pin Code.
Provide bank details—Bank Name, Branch, IFSC Code, and Account Number.
Upload scanned documents (all below 200 KB)—Aadhaar, Voter ID, Bank Passbook, Aadhaar Consent Form, and Photo.
Read and agree to the terms and conditions.
Click ‘Submit Application’, review the preview, and if all details are correct, click ‘Final Submit’.
Download and save the Beneficiary ID and Application Receipt for future reference.
How to Check Application Status
Go to the SSPMIS portal.
Click ‘Search Application Status’.
Enter your Aadhaar Number, Account Number, Beneficiary ID, or Sanction Number.
Enter the Captcha and click ‘View Application Status’.
If the status shows ‘Sanctioned by State’, it means your pension is approved.
