Vienna, May 27: Xiaomi is preparing to unveil the Xiaomi 17T series globally on May 28. The launch event will take place in Vienna, starting at 12 PM UTC or 5:30 PM IST.
This launch is being touted as the “biggest T Series upgrade yet.” Remarkably, the Xiaomi 17T series is debuting about four months earlier than the 15T series, marking the earliest T-series global launch in the company’s history.
For those interested in the event, there’s no need to be in Vienna to catch the action. The event will be livestreamed on Xiaomi’s YouTube channel, and viewers can also watch it directly on the official Xiaomi website.

What to Expect?
The event will introduce two smartphones: the Xiaomi 17T and the Xiaomi 17T Pro. The standard model is expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the Dimensity 8500 chipset. It will come with a 6,500mAh battery supporting 67W charging and a 50MP Leica Summilux main camera with 5x optical zoom.
In contrast, the Pro model will boast a larger 6.83-inch 144Hz OLED panel, a Dimensity 9500 processor, and a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities. It will also feature a 50MP Light Fusion 950 primary sensor.
Both smartphones will run HyperOS 3 out of the box, equipped with advanced AI features. The confirmed European pricing is set at €749 for the 17T and €999 for the 17T Pro.
Additionally, Xiaomi will unveil the Xiaomi Watch S5 and Smart Band 10 Pro in the wearable category, along with audio gadgets like the Xiaomi Sound Play speaker and Xiaomi Buds 6.
