On Sunday, RCB shared a video on their social media platform ‘X’, featuring Kohli participating in a fun game. He was tasked with selecting the better player among various T20 openers. Initially, he chose former Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist over Sunil Narine. Later, he picked Travis Head as the superior opener compared to Gilchrist. In the final round, Kohli had to choose between Rohit Sharma and Chris Gayle. After a brief pause, he declared Gayle the better T20 opener.
Chris Gayle holds the record for the most runs in T20 cricket history. He has amassed 14,562 runs in 455 innings at a strike rate of 144. In T20 internationals, Gayle has scored 1,899 runs in 75 innings. His IPL record is equally impressive, with 4,965 runs in 142 matches, including 6 centuries and 31 half-centuries.
